Pinterest Trends’ to explore top US search terms

Pinterest, a platform that operates a software system designed to enable saving and discovery of information on the World Wide Web using images and, on a smaller scale, GIFs and videos, has recently launched Pinterest Trends, a new tool to help marketers keep up with the top US search terms on the platform.

The tool is designed to give brands an understanding of changing behaviours, emerging trends, search queries and aid advertisers with effective keywords while planning media campaigns.

The platform reckons that users come to Pinterest to explore new ideas and plans; therefore, Pinterest can recognize emerging trends, interests and preferences and make this comprehension available to brands.

Currently, in beta, Pinterest Trends provides an overview of the most popular search terms from the past 12 months.

Pinterest says that over 200 billion ideas have been saved to over 4 billion boards till date on the platform, providing insights into emerging trends and early signals into consumer behaviour and evolving tastes.
